Brimanna Poll Merino Stud at Yeelanna is stocked and ready for its upcoming 2025 ram sale on Monday, July 28.
Offering quality, well-grown rams catering all budgets for more than 40 years, Brimanna recently took home placings at the Wudinna Expo – fourth in both the unhoused and the EP Hogget Ram of the Year competitions.
Brimanna’s Jayden Harris said he was hoping for good weather and looked forward to seeing people out at the inspection day tomorrow.
“This year we’ve got the first drop from a ram we purchased from Rices Creek in the Adelaide ram sale two years ago, and his sons have had a large impact on this year’s offering,” he said.
“I think there’s three in the top 10 and then there’s another one reserved for the Adelaide ram sale as well.
“So they’ve really hit the top end – quality wise – of our ram sale.”
Mr Harris said there would be 78 rams up for grabs this year, and they had turned it on considering the seasons.
“We wanted to give our clients a good opportunity to select their rams, we think the quality of the rams we’ve got on offer is good,” he said.
“They’ve probably been through a pretty tough period right from when they’ve been born, we’ve had two pretty tough seasons, so it’s good to see how they’ve grown out in those conditions.
“We still think they’re well grown and have the soft, rich wools that we’re known for.”
The Brimanna annual on-property ram sale is open from 11am on Monday, July 28, with the auction to begin at 2pm.
