Christmas Tree Festival

Our Saviours’ Lutheran Church Port Lincoln

Friday 28 November-Sunday 30 November, come along to the Christmas Tree Festival at Flinders Highway. It will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 6pm and 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, with various stalls including bric-a-brac, plus refreshments. Entry is a gold coin donation, with everyone welcome.

Elliston Markets

Come along for a fun-filled day at the Elliston Markets on Saturday 29 November at the Elliston Parklands. Enjoy a great range of stalls offering unique goods, delicious food, refreshing cocktails, music and plenty of good vibes. It is the perfect chance to find that special Christmas gift and enjoy a great day out with family and friends. Arno Bay Christmas Craft Fair

The Arno Bay Christmas Craft Fair is on Saturday 29 November at Turnbull Park from 9am to 2pm. There will be a variety of stalls such as baked goods, handmade crafts, plants, Christmas present ideas, CFS display, coffee van and more. For more information contact Trish Darling on 0429 420 115.

Carols by the Foreshore

Come along to the Port Lincoln foreshore for Carols by the Foreshore, a free community event, on Saturday 29 November. Pre-entertainment starts at 4pm, with carols from 5.30pm to 8pm. Bring your picnic rug, chairs, family and friends.

Streaky Bay Markets

Head along to the Streaky Bay Institute on Sunday 30 November from 10am to 2pm for the Streaky Bay Markets. You will be able to find a range of items, including handcrafted goods, unique items and treasures. Also enjoy the food and drink on offer.

Spirit of Christmas in Ceduna

Join in for an afternoon of joy, laughter and holiday cheer with the Spirit of Christmas in Ceduna on Wednesday 3 December in the Ceduna Memorial Hall from 4pm to 7pm. There will be Santa photos, cookie decorating, wreath making, a Christmas story – two sessions, 4.30pm and 6pm – plus carols from 5pm to 6pm.

Ceduna Christmas Market

Cummins Memory Cafe

Enjoy Memories of Christmas on Friday 5 December for the next Memory Cafe in Cummins RSL Hall from 2pm to 4pm. Note the change of time to the afternoon to avoid a clash with the Mosaic Celebration of Completion in the morning. Decorate the Memory Tree to be part of the Decorated Christmas Tree Display fundraiser for the RSL. Bring a past Christmas memory to share with others to be written on a Christmas decoration. Afternoon tea will be supplied. This is a free event supported by Cummins Lions Club and Cummins Op Shop.

Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting

A discussion forum on prostate cancer will be held on Friday 5 December, from 5pm to 7pm at Port Lincoln’s Grand Tasman Hotel meeting room. In attendance will be prostate cancer specialist nurse Janet Birkin. For further information, contact Ross Sharrad on 0439 282 242.

Cellar Folk Club

Port Lincoln’s Cellar Folk Club will meet at 7.30pm on Saturday 6 December for its next gathering and Christmas celebration for the end of a successful 2025, at the Baptist Church Cafe (7 Ravendale Road). There will be heaps of songs, acoustic music, Christmas sing-a-longs and poems – suitable for all ages – plus feature artist Ben Sunderland. Everybody is welcome, musicians and non-performers, at the free event. Bring some Christmas nibbles for a shared supper break.

Cummins Christmas Markets

The 2025 Cummins Christmas Markets will take place on Sunday 7 December at the RSL Hall from 10am to 3pm. Come along to find gifts, crafts, smallgoods, baking and more. Cowell carols

Cowell Christmas Community Carols will be hosted on Sunday 7 December, as part of the Lions Twilight Market, on Main Street. Carols will start at 5pm. Everybody is welcome to come along for community singing, performances and ice cream.

Cleve auxiliary meeting

Cleve District Hospital Auxiliary’s Christmas meeting and get-together is on Tuesday 9 December at Workshop26 in Kimba. Meet at 9am at Cleve Hospital for transport to Kimba. RSVP is essential, to Kelly on 0409 177 562.

Ceduna Hospital and Village Auxiliary Christmas Raffle

Tickets for the Ceduna Hospital and Village Auxiliary Christmas Raffle are on sale and can be purchased from auxiliary members and at different business locations around Ceduna. Tickets are $2 each. First prize is $250, second prize is $150 and third prize is $100. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 12 December at the cake/produce stall out the front of the Ceduna Memorial Hall.

Cummins Christmas Tree

Cummins Yeelanna RSL is adding to the Christmas events in Cummins with the Christmas Tree display open from 12 to 19 December. Each day the display is open from 10am to 3pm. Entry is a gold coin donation per person. Voting by silver coin for the most popular Christmas tree is a fundraiser for the Cummins RSL. Competition categories are personal tree (individual entry), business tree, community group entry and novelty tree. Children and youth are invited to enter a Christmas-themed LEGO creation as a separate category for judging. Text 0439 870 066 for details about putting in an entry.

Chandada 100th Christmas Tree

Chandada Memorial Hall will host a milestone Christmas Tree celebration, on Sunday 14 December from 4pm until late. All past and present families and friends of the Chandada community are invited to join in celebrating this historic event. The evening will include a community performance, Santa visit, full bar facilities, dinner (cost by donation), stalls, raffles, photo booth and more. Carols by the Beach

Tumby Bay’s Carols by the Beach will take place on Sunday 14 December. There will be food stalls and kids’ pre-carols entertainment from 5pm, with carols starting at 6pm. All are welcome to enjoy an evening by the beach, on the Tumby Bay foreshore lawns, adjacent to the yacht club.

Cowell Christmas pageant

Lions Club of Cowell is hosting the Christmas Pageant on Wednesday 24 December. Be part of the pageant, with excellent prizes for floats, decorated bikes, walking groups, gophers and classic vehicles. Meet at the bowling club at 6pm to register, with the pageant to start at 6.45pm.

Family Fish Day

Head along to the Streaky Bay jetty on Saturday 3 January 2026 for the annual Family Fish Day event. Registration is from 8am, with the fishing competition from 9am to 11am – scaled fish only. Cash prizes and trophies for anglers aged three to 17. This free community event is hosted by Streaky Bay Tourism and Business Association – for more information, contact tourism@streakybay.com.au.
