Streaky Bay Area School’s class of 2025 graduation is complete, after a festive post-exams season saw the cohort celebrate at a graduation dinner as well as a well-attended regional formal.

At last Tuesday’s grad dinner, school representatives reflected on the growth, resilience and determination the year 12s had shown throughout their schooling, offering encouragement as the cohort prepares to embark on new pathways.

The school’s primary departure message was to celebrate each student’s achievements while reminding them of the importance of courage, kindness and staying true to themselves.

The evening was attended by students, families and staff in celebration of one chapter ending while a new one begins.

The year 12s also attended their final school formal, which saw 160 year 8 to 12 students in attendance from Streaky, Wudinna, Elliston, Karcultaby and Miltaburra schools.

Streaky Bay Area School extended its thanks to those who made the formal possible.

“Special thanks go to the many staff members, parents and local businesses who contributed their time, resources and encouragement, making this event memorable for all involved,” it said.

“The sight of students from five area schools laughing, dancing and celebrating together is a testament to what we can achieve when our community comes together.”

“We are filled with gratitude for everyone who played a part in making this year’s formal such a special occasion for our young people. We look forward to more shared experiences in the years ahead.”
