Karcultaby Area School food and hospitality students showcased what they learnt in semester one by hosting a high tea in term three.
Their teacher, Wendy O’Brien, said the year 10, 11 and 12 students were proud and excited about their newfound skills.
“They each prepared a variety of dishes, ranging from slices and spring rolls to healthier options,” Ms O’Brien said.
“The theme of gold and black created an impressive sight, and their food was presented exceptionally well.”
Caramel and peppermint slices, macaroons, banana bread, pumpkin scones, mini Oreo cheesecakes, pumpkin scones, spring rolls and raspberry and white chocolate muffins were among the dishes made by students for the event.
