Grains group seeking board member

Directors Australia is currently working with Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) to recruit non-executive directors for up to a three-year term, starting in October 2026.

GRDC are seeking candidates that can demonstrate: experience at a governing or board level including a sound working knowledge of contemporary corporate governance systems and frameworks; an ability to analyse, critically assess and contribute to monitoring financial and non-financial company performance; commercial acumen including the ability to drive and contribute to setting the strategic direction of a large and complex organisation, ideally in the grains or a related industry; well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to enable the director to work constructively with the board and executive management team; and high level personal reputation and standing.

GRDC are seeking applications from experienced leaders with expertise in areas across the sector.

Applicants are requested to complete an online application form and upload a current resume and covering letter via grdc.directorsaustralia.com.au no later than 9am on Tuesday 7 April.
